Far and away the best Dracula film made to date, The Horror Of Dracula is a 1958 Hammer Film production of Bram Stoker's novel that is not only a classic piece of cinema, but also ranks as one of the finest gothic horror films Hammer ever produced.

It is simply regarded as the first film in a fondly-remembered genre. Directed by Terence Fisher, The Horror Of Dracula was only his second gothic horror, and Fisher did justice to the story in a way that no other filmmaker has been able to repeat. The photography is gorgeous, the sets even better, and the music just perfect. The ending, a violent piece of hand-to-hand combat between Count Dracula and his nemesis Dr. Van Helsing, was unlike anything else seen in British cinema up to that point, and the special effects still impress today. But what really makes the film work are the performances of Christopher Lee and (especially) Peter Cushing in the lead roles. Lee's star-making turn as Dracula ensured his status as one of the great cinematic villains.

Cushing meanwhile, enjoys one of his two signature roles (the other of course being Baron Victor Frankenstein), and he provides us with what is by far the strongest and most impressive Van Helsing on film. His vampire hunter is a dangerous, Christian fanatic, and a celibate, lonely scientist who battles Dracula not for personal reward, but because he knows he is the only man strong enough and wise enough to be able succeed at the task at hand.

All images will have a white border as this is neccessary in order for the print to be in proportion.

Because of the age of some of our posters, a few small imperfections may be reproduced. These should be visible by looking at the larger images within this listing. Some prints may have marks or creases as a result of this. Paper can often degrade with time, and sometimes an image reproduced from the original that may reflect this.

Also please note that on certain movie posters, visible folds or creases might be visible. This is due to the originals being sent in this state to the movie theatres when released for distribution.

ROW (NOT USA): - Standard International Mail is taking anything between 3 to 6 weeks to get delivered.If you want your item quickly I suggest you select the Airsure option, which although more expensive, does guarantee delivery within 2 weeks and provide a tracking number.

USA:- Due to current Ebay regulations, all items to the USA need to have tracking, therefore the standard international mail option is not available.
