Flying The Flag 2022
Following the success of our Vintage Style Railway posters, that have recreated the golden age of train travel in Great Britain, we are excited to announce the launch of our new range of Airline Style Posters.
Using the iconic travel posters, created by British European Airways (BEA) and British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) in the 1950's, 60's and 70's as inspiration, we have chosen 75 of our ultimate travel destinations and created a modern take on a vintage theme.
The world has clearly moved on from the days when flying was only for the wealthier people in society and overseas travel was still an expedition to undertake. But there is still a romance to the idea of sipping a gin and tonic in the air, embarking on trips to what was largely part of a large, albeit declining Empire. Despite the purgatory that flying has become in 2022, overseas travel is now within the reach of everyone (with three jabs, a mask and a covid pass!).
